Over the past few months, our service users have been creating artwork in our Beautifully Made art workshops in prison and at our drop-in centre, and they'd love to show it to you!
The structure of the evening will be:
6pm-7.30pm Optional Workshop
7.30pm-9pm Exhibition
8pm Film Premiere
Our Beautifully Made Art Exhibition displays all of these wonderful art pieces, as well as a short story behind the artist (with their permission).
There will also be the opportunity to create your own artwork at an optional workshop at 6pm where you can decorate a ring bound notebook with a wide range of materials.
At the end of the evening we will be showcasing our brand new promotional video, showing the kinds of experiences our service users face upon release from prison. The video is around 5 mins in length, and the exhibition will still be open during and after the showing.
This evening is open to anyone from all faiths or none, but the theme of the evening is based around the Bible passage Psalm 139 (which you can read by clicking the link here).
