How to make a data protection complaint

If you're unhappy with how we've collected, used, or looked after your personal information, for example, how we've responded to a request you've made, the security of your data, or how long we've kept it, you have the right to complain to us directly, and we want to hear from you.

How to complain: Email us at admin@jerichoroad.org.uk with details of your concern or write to us at:

Jericho Road Project Flat 1a, Chestnut Grove, Nottingham, NG3 5AD.

Please tell us what's happened and, if you can, what outcome you're looking for. This helps us resolve things faster.

What happens next:

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it.

  • We will look into it without unreasonable delay, keeping you updated on progress.

  • We will let you know the outcome and explain how we reached our decision.

If you're a child or you're complaining on behalf of someone else, let us know and we'll make sure our response is clear and, where you're acting for another person, we may need to check you're authorised to do so (for example, a letter of authority).

Complaining to the ICO: You do not have to wait for us to respond before contacting the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), and you can complain to them at any time. However, we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
