The Jericho Road Project aims to bring hope and restoration to those affected by the sex industry in Nottinghamshire. The project was established in 2000 and over the last eighteen years we have supported over 650 different women.
Around 60 volunteers and six staff members are involved in the Jericho Road Project from over 27 churches in Nottingham. We work with women both on the streets and in off-street settings, through weekly outreaches, a drop-in centre, prison visiting, resettlement and befriending.
In 2018 we supported 154 different women, many of whom were street working in Nottingham's red light district. We provide crisis support when needed, giving food and clothing and offering emotional support.
